People keep asking me to post more unfinished stuff, progress and step-by-step art. So here's a little sky painting I did in my lunchbreak today.

Sorry for the lack of explanation, but I don't have much time right now and I want to save that for my art-book.

Just some quick infos: I used Photoshop CS2 and a Wacom Graphire 3 for this. Usually I use Photoshop 5 and a Graphire 4 at home. But I didn't notice much difference.

Step 1-5 were done with the airbrush and brush tool only.
On step 7 I started to merge the colores with the smudge tool. On step 9 I used the dodge tool do add more highlights.

Time taken: 1 hour
