Artist's Comments

'Howling can help define territory, and find and gather family members. In ideal situations, the howl can be heard up to 10 miles away, and for this same reason they are seldom used. It is difficult for them to suppress the urge to howl, and is done profusely when they can afford it. Pups begin howling under one year of age. True lone wolves almost never howl.'

Anyway: watercolor, acrylics and colored pencil as usual.
Time taken: about 30 house I guess...not counting the many hours I spent at the animal sanctuary/park to make sketches and take referrence photos.

Irritirend find ich die Markings am Kopf der Wölfe, sieht aus als hätten sie da kahle Stellen, aber ansonsten blähst einem das Bild voll aus den Socken! O.o Echt krass, du solltest ein Artbook machen.
